RETURNS-   goods will have a full money back refund within 14 days of payment .No freight charges on any goods refundable unless goods supplied incorrectly. Goods must be returned in a resaleable manner that is undamaged wrapping. No refund will be given until goods are returned to us and inspected .

EXCHANGE HEADS and ENGINES.- all heads and engines that are described as exchange have a deposit on them. that is we charge you a deposit  which is refunded when the old engine or head is returned to us.This deposit will not be refunded until the goods are inspected and deemed to be reconditionable.  ie a cylinder head which is returned and on inspection is cracked it will not be a refundable deposit item....

WARRANTY- we offer a warranty on our workship which is put into any performance engine or cylinder head.  all performance parts,engines and heads are sold as RACING USE / OFFROAD USE ONLY . Our racing products are sold without warranty of any kind due to the unusual stress placed on these components and because we have no control over how they are used. All implied warranties of merchantibility or fitness for a particular purpose and other obligations and liabilities are hereby disclaimed. The sole obligation by us shall be limited only to the products found defective,in either workmanship or material, after the inspection performed by our company. Any  warranties only cover the sold product not related incurred costs to remove,refit and prepare for use after replacement.

We incurr no costs for

1. removal and refitting of any product deemed for warranty.   eg.   engine removal, head removal, refitting, tuning, oils,coolants and ancillaries..

2. Freight charges for returning goods/engines etc.

If a product needs warranty inspection it must be returned to us unopened by any other workshop. We then will assess the problem, rectify and come to an ammicable agreement ,in writing, to replace the product and pay for costs incurred if  responsible for warranty. If therefore we are responsible for warranty we will reimburse for fitting,removal and incurred freight costs etc at our discresion, only if agreed in writing/  EMAIL.  We must have first option to repair, replace at our cost if deemed responsible. Interstate sales must have agreements in place in writing or email before Lewis Engines will reimburse any monies.

Our workmanship warranty will only be applicable if all following proceedures are abided by

1.Our requested startup procedures/tuning and run in.

2.Oil type used

3. fitting/tuning by  a reputable company with which we have agreeance with and whom will abide by our requests other than taking it upon themselves in there format, they then aquire themselves responsible for any warranties if not been given our go ahead..

All manufacturers of our aftermarket parts offer limited warranties and we will not be responsible for the ongoings from there warranties.

POSTAGE and FREIGHT     the freight through the site is an average delivery time  and we must be notified if requiring items urgently and freight charges adjusted accordingly. Most freight to capitals and easy access towns takes 2 to 3 days.   To remote areas possibly longer depending on area..
